Mainly, I've blogged about worm poop, and how the worms eat the rabbit poop.

I have a miniature living machine in my condo-- the rabbits eat my garden scraps, their poop gets fed to the worms, and the worms' poop feeds my garden- and on it goes. Some, though not many, kitchen gardeners keep rabbits just for their poop. It's astonishing fertilizer, but the worms make it even better. It is processed quickly by the worms and they add amazing properties to it- pH balance, water retention, trace minerals, calcium.ilexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06772649648781578752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797140174605400944.post-41167505572911591602008-04-29T09:32:00.000-04:002008-04-29T09:32:00.000-04:00Cute rabbits. Electric cords, and soft things, and pointsettias which made for red pee, (yea poisonous but apprearently not too) were certainly a hazard

I was looking at the cute rabbits at the local farm feed store but wasn't sure of thier use (uh, the idea of meat being out). Have you blogged on their gardening abilities? - I'll have to look.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06717388726735528462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797140174605400944.post-36984841432323783732008-04-29T08:31:00.000-04:002008-04-29T08:31:00.000-04:00Rabbit Saint, you said, "Geez Louise, kid, you wou...Rabbit Saint, you said, "Geez Louise, kid, you would grow too much of anything!" So I wanted to know just how much was too much and made a complete list.

I added sweet corn over the weekend- just 8 stalks- bought them at the farmer's market on Saturday. They are in a really big container...

I love my buns, I do. But I had hoped for cuddle buns. They cuddle with each other, but not with us humans.ilexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06772649648781578752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797140174605400944.post-4440332419529765272008-04-29T07:09:00.000-04:002008-04-29T07:09:00.000-04:00I didn't know you had house rabbits!Cool!CarolynI didn't know you had house rabbits!

Cool!

CarolynCarolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04450417105199027727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797140174605400944.post-60914922793079832842008-04-29T00:58:00.000-04:002008-04-29T00:58:00.000-04:00For saying less than overjoyed words about your bu...For saying less than overjoyed words about your bunnies you must now memorize your plant list and recite it 20 times from your patio - yelling it loudly, at noon, to all who pass.

Did I say make a list? Hmmm .. good idea though! Very impressive ...

We ate our last home-grown potato yesterday .. there are still a few, but getting soft and all sprouts .. into the dirt pile with them .. they will reproduce by about late August!RGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02017190779860810318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797140174605400944.post-14592335267616041062008-04-28T17:13:00.000-04:002008-04-28T17:13:00.000-04:00Robbyn, it's hard to stop buns from eating your el...Robbyn, it's hard to stop buns from eating your electrical cords. We bought cord covers and that made a big difference; even still, many have been re-wrapped with electrical tape. We learned over time that a few phonebooks and cardboard boxes under the sofa distract them from the cords, baseboards and furniture legs. Now they mainly go for the paper/ cardboard.ilexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06772649648781578752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797140174605400944.post-77936292565152643202008-04-28T15:12:00.000-04:002008-04-28T15:12:00.000-04:00aw, I love rabbits :) how do you keep them from g...aw, I love rabbits :) how do you keep them from gnawing all your electrical cords? Someone was going thru my camera the other day and started looking at me strangely. I had to try to explain the 145 rabbit pictures... again, in avoidance of becoming the crazy cat lady, all signs are pointing to "crazy rabbit lady".L.Bo Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08980773329169466359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797140174605400944.post-10107593381363903642008-04-28T13:54:00.000-04:002008-04-28T13:54:00.000-04:00I've been informed by the buns that everything in ...I've been informed by the buns that everything in the house is owned by the buns...
