Enough With the Indoor Permafrost Already

24 hours later, and I'm still chipping away at my "finished compost". Do as I say and not as I do, people. When YOU purchase your very own Worm Wigwam in the darkest months of winter whilst living in the Great White North, for goodness' sake plan ahead and have finished compost ready and waiting! AND it goes without saying, follow the freaking enclosed instructions, WILL YOU? Is that too much to ask? Sheesh.

One more measly inch is required in the Wigwam bin. That's about (scientific-ish calculation here) 3-7 more hours, or about 1/2 to 3/4 a bottle of wine. I stuck a seedling heater pad in there and closed the ComposTumbler lid (oh please don't call Underwriter's Laboratories and tattle on me), and it's speeding the melt. Sort of.

But the Shiraz is dee-licious!

I must say, though- the 20,000 kids actually seem relatively happy in their temporary digs. Who knew? I mean, I wouldn't force them to live in there forever, but at least they haven't staged one of those nutty worm runs...

Hola MS. Worm and the Saint. I too am a Saint - we have so many rabbits in the house ... wasn't my idea!

You are doing a great job keeping composting and worm people up to speed on your particular passion there. Lots of people out here have worm bins and if you want to start one you just call this number and they find you somebody close to give you worms!

Fine to send the pic of Teeny to Cute overload ... what is out on the web is fair game I guess!

Hope you show us some rabbits every few days ..

pS - we lived in Plymouth for two years ... poor you! But then, maybe you like Detroit!
