Bunday Munday- Cecilia the agouti

(Whadda life)
---
Cecilia's coloring is called agouti. It's not a breed, just a coat pattern and color. It was originally bred to resemble wild rabbit. The coat is a mix of individual brown, beige, and black hairs, all closely intermingled. Her ear tips are black, and her tail is black on top and white underneath. (When this coat type is grey, white and black, instead of brown, beige and black, it is called chinchilla.) When I first saw her, she reminded me of Durer's rabbit. Now, not so much- she's plumped up quite a bit. *sigh*... haven't we all.

I just love it when she flops down on the floor like this. She looks so happy.

She is beautiful. My big Bandit was an agouti/Chinchilla and loved to flop just like that. Her belly was white. I wonder if Durer kept his rabbit in the house?

I love a good bunny flop. I can never catch my buns in a flop.

cute!! lily (my holland lop) rolls into a flop. it's really cute. she rolls as far as she can go and then lays there :P her tail is similar to cecilia's - it's grey on top and white on the bottom. too cute!

Yup .. The Princess is agouti. Her coat has brown and white and black and gold! Rather non-descript from afar but very pretty up close!

That's a great flop.
